EzyCourse Accessibility Settings

One of the most useful settings on EzyCourse is how you can set the accessibility of a product. With accessibility settings, you have the power to control who can access what when it comes to your products.

You’ll bump into these options every time you go on to create a product. So in this article, you’ll learn about the accessibility settings on EzyCourse.

Public

When a product (Course, Community, etc.) is set to public, it is visible to everyone who visits your website. In addition to visibility, any visitor (registered and unregistered) can purchase or enroll into the public product.

[Note: If unregistered, a user is signed up on your platform while on the product checkout page.]

Public accessibility option is available for use on every product.

Private

The main difference between public and private is that users cannot enroll/purchase the private product without your approval first. In other words, they give enrollment requests which you have to approve from your dashboard. After approval, they’ll get access to the product.

You can use the private accessibility option on Courses, Communities, Group Chats, and Live Streams.

Hidden

As the name suggests, hidden accessibility hides the product from student’s or visitor’s view. In other words, hidden products do not appear on your website. For enrolling, you have to provide or send the product link to your students. The link could be the landing page link of a hidden Course, for example.

[Note: Hidden courses will still be visible inside a bundle course.]

Hidden accessibility option is available for use on Courses, Digital/Physical products, Communities, Group chats, and Live Streams.

Restricted

Restricted products are non-purchasable products on your website. Students will be able to see these products but purchasing or enrolling is restricted. Unlike hidden or private, you cannot simply provide the landing page link. But, you could manually enroll a student.

[Note: If you use the restricted option on a course then it will still be accessible if the course is inside a bundle course.]

You can combine settings with your memberships to make your site more professional. For example, if you have a premium membership bundle then you can include in the bundle a restricted product. This will help to prevent users from accessing the product without getting the membership bundle. In other words, only the membership subscribers can access the product.
