Instant Zoom Integration for Booked Appointments

What is it & why you need it


With EzyCourse, you can easily set up appointments, manage bookings, integrate appointments with google calendar, and more.


Now, you can take appointments using zoom meetings directly from your EzyCourse dashboard. When any appointment slot is booked, this feature will automatically create a zoom meeting for you removing the hassle of manual setup. Although you could use meeting links manually, we’ve brought a more streamlined and automated process to take your appointments with zoom.


This will also improve how your users experience the appointment sessions thanks to different features integrated on zoom.



How it works


As an admin, you can now choose to integrate any new appointments you create with zoom meetings. The new option, if selected, will create a zoom meeting automatically on the exact date and time the appointment is booked on.


Note that a new separate meeting will be added on your dashboard for each new booking made by a student. This is true even if the “multiple bookings at the same slot” option is enabled.


You can join the appointment directly from your dashboard and start the appointment session on zoom. For students, they can also join from the student dashboard.



How to get started using it


To set up automatic zoom appointments, you need to create a new appointment first or edit an existing one. To do that, log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Products & Services -> Appointments.





When creating or editing an appointment, select the Event Type to be “Zoom Meeting”.





After you save the appointment with zoom meeting selected, any new bookings made by your users will create a new meeting automatically on the Products & Services -> Meetings menu.

From here, you can join the meeting as host, copy the participant meeting link, share the meeting link, etc. You can also sort all the meetings and only view the ones created through appointment bookings.





It is important to note that the same appointment when booked by another user will create a separate meeting entirely. If you enable “multiple bookings at the same slot” option, then it will still create separate meetings even for same slot bookings.





By default, your appointment meetings will be recorded and available on the Meetings menu in your dashboard. 


Students can go to the Appointments menu to find their appointment bookings, and join the zoom meeting session on the set date and time.
