Block Forward Seeking in Video Lessons

What is it & why you need it

This feature ensures that your students watch your video content from start to finish without skipping ahead.

Now, you can ensure your students do not jump through content and absorb your content fully. This will improve the learning outcomes and ensure students actually complete lessons properly. With Block Forward Seeking enabled, they must engage with the lesson fully.

How to get started using it

To get started, log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and navigate to Courses -> All Courses. Go to Edit on any course.

Either go to create a new video lesson or edit an existing one. On lesson settings, you’ll see the new option Block forward seeking. Enable it to stop students from skipping seconds of the video.

For any video lesson you keep this setting enabled, students will not be able to skip even one second.

[Note: If they finish watching the complete video once, then they can skip seconds during the next time. In other words, the block only works for the first time.]
