Graceful Period for Subscriptions
What is it and why you need it
EzyCourse allows you to offer flexible options for your users having subscription-based courses and products. Previously, your users would lose course/product access as soon as their subscription expired.
With this new feature update, you can now set Graceful Period for Subscriptions. This means that even after a user’s subscription expires, they’ll now have extra days to access the product/content before losing access completely.
This not only gives your users the flexibility to have a few days extra to renew their subscriptions but also helps you increase user retention and engagement on your platform.
How it works
As an admin, you can set a specific number of extra days as a graceful period. During this time, users with expired subscriptions can still access their product/content.
The number of days you can set completely depends on you. And students can also renew their subscription anytime within the graceful period you’ve set.
This feature is only applicable to subscription-based courses and products which include:
• Courses
• Bundle Courses
• Communities
• Memberships
• Group Chats
• Video Library
• Audio Library
How to get started using it
Login to your EzyCourse dashboard, and navigate to Site Settings -> Global Settings.

Scroll down at the bottom of the page and here you will find a section named “Graceful Period for Subscriptions”. Now click the Grace Period field and enter the No. of days you want to offer for your subscription users. Once you’re done, click the Save button.

Now, when a student’s subscription expires, they will see a message on the course/product watch page showing the number of grace days they have left. They can access the content until the end of the graceful period.
