Quiz Settings on EzyCourse
You can select several different quiz settings from the Quiz Settings tab. To access the Quiz Settings tab, you have to create a quiz lesson first.
Right after creating a quiz lesson, you’ll have access to the Quiz Settings tab.
At the start, you can see 5 different checkboxes for configuring quizzes. Firstly, the show quiz in mobile app remains enabled by default so that your quizzes appear on the app as well. Next, you can allow partial marking and set negative markings for the quiz.
In addition, you can allow students to skip questions and shuffle the choices each time the quiz is taken. Skipped questions don’t give students any points. However, if you’ve set negative marking for the quiz, it’s ideal to enable the skip question as it helps students avoid losing points on questions they're unsure about.
[Note: The shuffle option is available only for single/multiple choice questions.]
Besides, you can select whether to show the quiz answers at the end of the quiz, instantly, or after all retakes. You can also set the passing score and choose the number of retakes that a student can take.
You can allow students to take retakes even after they click the Complete and Continue button. To set the final score for the quiz, you can choose a specific scoring option: Average score, Best score, or Last score.
[Note: The default score is the “Last Score“. If you opt to select none, then the default one will be applied.]

EzyCourse quiz settings also allow you to set the quiz time. You can either set a total time (in seconds) for the whole quiz or a specific timeframe (in seconds) for each question to answer.
When done, click the Update button at the top to apply the changes.
