Quiz Score Settings in EzyCourse

What is it or why do you need it

While setting the number of retakes in your quizzes, you may need to set which score to select.

Previously you only had the option to set the ‘Number of retakes’. You can set the number of retakes from 1 to 10 (depending on different plans). With the update, now you can select which of the retake scores to be selected. This way, it’ll help to choose from the best score/average score/last score from your student submission.

How it works

There are 3 options under the ‘Choose retake score’ option:

  • Best Score

  • Average Score

  • Last Score

Choose any of the three options and you’ll get the respective score in the quiz submission. If you select the average score, and the number of retakes is 5, then the total score will be divided by 5.

Finally, you can check the quiz submissions from your dashboard under Courses > Quiz Submissions

How to get started using it

Step 1: You can select several different quiz settings from the Quiz Settings tab. To access the Quiz Settings tab, you have to create a quiz lesson first.

Step 2: After creating a quiz lesson, you can go to the Quiz Settings tab.

Step 3: Set the number of retakes from 1 to 10. (Depending on the plans)

Step 4: Choose any of the 3 options under the ‘Choose retake score’ option:

  • Best Score

  • Average Score

  • Last Score

(You can also shuffle options in each retake)

Step 5: Click on the update button once you’re done.
