Customizable Email Notification Settings
Giving your students more personalization options simply improves how users experience your platform. And now, you have the luxury of giving your students more control of what they want to receive notifications for.
Students can choose what information they want to receive on their email, allowing you to keep them informed of what matters most to them. They can opt-in to receive email notifications for important updates like enrollment confirmations and payment issues, for example.
How it works
Your students can access the settings from their dashboard. Then they can turn on/off the specific notifications they wish to receive.
Of course, just like any other student dashboard menu, you can choose whether to show this settings option to the students from your EzyCourse dashboard.
How to get started using it
To give your students the opportunity to use this setting, login to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Site settings -> Student dashboard settings.
Scroll down to the bottom to find the new Settings option. Turn the toggle on. Remember you can also drag and move it up if you wish.
Don’t forget to save the changes.
On the student-end, your students can access the new option from their dashboard sidebar.
At the moment, they can opt to receive email notifications about the following:
- When a card payment fails
- When they enroll to a product on your platform
- When an assignment is updated by the teacher
