Checkout Signup Verification
What is it & why you need it
EzyCourse ensures a smooth checkout process for your customers. Any visitor on your website can even sign up directly on the checkout page as they are purchasing a product, and can get access to their dashboard and the purchased product.
Now, you can choose to add security measures to this process which will need the visitor to verify their email before getting access to any product or their dashboard. Without verification, they will not be able to access any purchased products including courses, chats, communities, etc.
But, your website pages will still be visible to the users ensuring you retain the traffic while adding an important security measure to your platform.
How it works
As an admin, you will have the option to enable the “require email verification” from your EzyCourse dashboard. This will prevent new students from accessing the dashboard after completing a checkout process. The product will still be purchased, but will remain inaccessible until they verify the email.
Without verifying, students will still be able to view the different pages of your website such as the all-products page. And they can even continue to purchase other products too. But until verified, no access will be granted.
How to get started using it
All you have to do is enable the setting from your dashboard. To do that, go to Site Settings -> General Settings -> and go to the Auth settings tab.
Find the “New students from checkout page” section and enable the “Require email verification” option. Don’t forget to save the setting.
Now, any unregistered visitor on your website cannot access the student dashboard after signing in from a product checkout page. They have to verify the email first.
The email verification code is sent to the student's email as soon as they click on the purchase button. Once they verify, they will be able to access the dashboard and also the product they’ve purchased.
