Trial Option For Tiered & Flat tiered Subscription Pricing

What is it and why you need it

You can offer a trial period to let your customers experience your course or membership before committing to a paid purchase. Previously, this feature was only available for one-time or standard subscription pricing.

But now with this latest update, you can also offer trial options on tiered and flat tiered subscription pricing models. As customers will be able to see the value you are offering through trial, it’ll help to encourage and drive more sales for your B2B courses or memberships.

How to get started using it

You can set the trial option using both membership and course. To begin, navigate to the Pricing tab of any existing course or membership plan. Select any one from the ‘Subscription Plan (Tiered)‘ or ‘Subscription Plan - Flat Price (Tiered)‘ options.

Set your pricing tiers. And then simply enable the Trial Subscription option to turn on trial mode and set relevant settings.

You can set the trial length (in days) and also enable the cardless trial option that lets your B2B customers sign up for trial without giving their payment card details. It helps in making your checkout even more frictionless. Once you’re done with setting the price and billing period, click the Create button to create the pricing with trial mode on.

On the checkout page, your customers will be able to view all the tiers and choose the quantity of the product. Also, notice that there’s no payment card fields as the cardless trial option was enabled. They’ll be able to see the trial period too.

Customers can activate their B2B course or membership anytime during the trial period by going to Dashboard Subscription menu.

[Note: After the end of trial period, the course/membership will be activated and payment will be collected automatically. For cardless enrollment, customers will have to activate before trial period ends. Otherwise, the product enrollment will be cancelled.]

If cardless trial, then they’ll have to provide the card details to complete the purchase and activate the product.
