Allow Students To Create Habit Trackers

What is it and why you need it

Habit Tracking helps students build consistency throughout their coaching journey by tracking daily or weekly habits.

Previously, only admins and coaches could create habit trackers for students inside Session, Week, and Continuous Coaching Programs.

But now, admins and coaches can allow students to create and manage their own habit trackers. Students can add personal habits, track their progress, and submit habit updates directly without requiring the coach to create every tracker.

This gives students ownership of their learning while letting coaches and admins continue monitoring progress.

How to get started using it

Log in to your EzyCourse dashboard, go to Coaching -> Coaching Programs -> create or edit a Session, Week, or Continuous Coaching Program.

[Note: You can allow students to create habits only for Session, Week, and Continuous Coaching Programs.]

Enable the Habit tab if it isn't.

Once you’ve enabled the habit tab, notice the new Allow Students to Create Habits option. Enable it so that students can create their own habits.

Click Update to apply the changes to your coaching program.

Once the option is enabled, students can open the Habit tab inside their coaching program and click Add Habit

Since students don't have access to the Habit Tracker Library, they'll create their habit tracker directly from the creation window using the same fields available to admins and coaches.

Students can submit the habit trackers they created, track their progress, view submission charts, etc.

You can also find out whether a habit was created by a coach or by a student from the habit table's Created By column.

[Note: Students cannot view, edit, or delete another student's habits. However, admins and coaches can view or delete student-created habit trackers.]
