New Internal Automation Task: Send Self Email Notification
What is it and why you need it
With the Automation Workflow on EzyCourse, you can create powerful automations using multiple triggers and actions.
Currently, you have access to 13+ actions, and now a new one is joining the list: “Send Self Email Notification.”
The action comes under the Automation Task Addon which allows you to automatically send email notifications to yourself or a specific team member when a trigger gets fired. It can be useful when you want to stay informed and react quickly without constantly checking your dashboard.
Some other practical use cases include:
New high-value sale alert
Manual approval workflows
Important activity alerts
How to get started using it
To begin, login to your EzyCourse dashboard, go to Marketing & Contacts -> Automation Workflows -> Create a new automation or edit an existing one.

After selecting a trigger, click the + icon to add an action. Scroll down to find the Send Self Email Notification and click on it.

Now enter the following details:
Sender Name (Appearing in the email notification)
Sender Email (Address from which the email will be sent)
Receiver Email (Address where the email will be delivered)
Email Subject (Subject line helps you identify the purpose of the email)

Create or select a template and hit the Add Action button.

If needed, you can also update the sender email and other action settings at anytime.

Once your complete workflow is active and the action gets triggered, the targeted user instantly receives the Email.

As usual, you can view metrics such as Delivered, Opened, Clicked, and Bounced.

The View Log shows ‘Recipients’, ‘Status’, ‘Delivered At’, and ‘Details’ data. Note that each time an action gets triggered, you will see new recipient entries.
