Subscription & Recurring Donation For Events
What is it and why you need it
Previously, you could only charge users a one-time payment for your events. Even if those are recurring events that repeat every week or month. That means your users could pay once and get access to all upcoming sessions.
With this new update, you can now set up subscription and recurring donation pricing for all your single and recurring events. That means you can charge users monthly, weekly, or on a custom recurring basis, just like courses or memberships.
It’s an effective update if you host recurring workshops, meetups, or community events that run over time.
How it works
Let’s assume that you created a recurring event that repeats every month for 6 months. And set a monthly subscription plan for this event.
So, when a user purchases the recurring event subscription, they’ll instantly get access to all event sessions for that current month only.
Note that users won’t get access to the upcoming month’s sessions unless their current month’s subscription expires and they renew their subscription. Each renewal unlocks the new month’s event sessions.
As a result, this keeps all your event access fair and time-based. Therefore, try to create a more sustainable and fair pricing model for your attendees.
How to get started using it
Navigate to your EzyCourse dashboard, go to Products & Services -> Events, and click the Edit event option on a recurring event.
[Note: You can set subscription and recurring donation plans for both single and multiple-day events as well.]

Click the Pricing tab and see that two new subscription pricing plans have been added — Subscription Plan (Standard) and Donation Plan (Recurring).

Select the Standard Subscription pricing model and set the pricing, interval, and advance installment settings (if needed). Once done, click the Create button.

You can also set Recurring Donation plan for all your events if your event sessions are charity or pay-what-you-can based.

Users get access to all the current month’s event sessions. They cannot register for the upcoming month’s session unless they renew their subscription for that month.
