Advanced Form Trigger and Email Campaign Target
What is it and why you need it
We’ve released some new feature updates for Automation Workflows and Email Campaigns. These updates will help you automate actions more precisely and reach the right audience at the right time.
The Automation Workflow feature includes two powerful improvements:
Someone Submits an Advanced Form Trigger
With this new trigger added, you can now start an automation whenever a user submits an advanced contact form.
Allow Multiple Triggers to Be Executed by the Same User
This new setting lets you decide whether the same user can trigger an automation more than once.
Email Campaigns now include a new audience targeting filter: Respondents of (X) Advanced Forms that allows you to send email campaigns only to users who have submitted a specific advanced contact form.
How to get started using it
To use the new trigger and settings, go to Marketing & Contacts -> Automation Workflows on your dashboard. This is where you find all the existing automations created.

You can either create a new workflow or edit an existing one.

Notice the new “Allow multiple triggers to be executed by the same user " shown at the top of the Add trigger panel. Enable it so that the automation runs every time the trigger condition is met.

To use the new advanced form trigger, select the Someone submit an advanced contact form trigger.

Choose the Advanced Contact form from the dropdown list and then click the Add Trigger button to add.
[Note: Only the advanced forms that were created using the Contact Form type are available for use.]

You can then create workflows with all the different actions such as split test, adding tags, using if-else, triggering webhook, etc.
Email Campaign New Target Audience
Navigate to Marketing & Contacts → Campaigns → Start New Campaign.

Give your campaign a title and subject. While choosing your campaign target, you’ll now see Respondents of [x] advanced form added as an option. Select it.

Choose the specific advanced contact form and click the Apply button. As soon as you click it, you can see the total recipients who will receive the campaign.

Once you’re done with the other settings, click the Start Campaign button and that’s it.
