Xendit Payment Gateway For Marketplace Sellers
What is it and why you need it
Previously, marketplace admin and sellers on EzyCourse could accept payments only through Stripe and PayPal when selling marketplace products.
With this feature update, Xendit payment gateway is now available for both the marketplace admin and sellers. This allows both parties to sell products and receive payments directly through Xendit.
This is especially useful for customers in Southeast Asia, as Xendit supports popular local payment methods and provides a smoother checkout experience for customers using IDR (Rp).
How to get started using it
Headover to your EzyCourse dashboard, go to Site Settings -> Global Settings -> Payments tab and select the default currency to Rp IDR. Once done, click the Update button.
[Note: For now, only the Rp IDR currency is supported via Xendit payment gateway.]
Scroll down and find the Xendit Payment section. Enable the toggler and then click the Update button.
How to set up Xendit payment gateway on EzyCourse
To enable the Xendit payment gateway for your marketplace seller, simply go to Marketplace -> Seller -> click the three dots on a seller and select the Settings button.
On the popup, enable the xendit checkbox so that the seller can use this payment gateway. Click the OK button apply the changes made.
Note that both the marketplace admin and seller need to create the product pricing in the Rp IDR currency so that customers can purchase the marketplace products using the Xendit payment gateway.
Users can now use the Xendit payment option to purchase any marketplace products created with the Rp IDR currency.
