Remove Tag Automation Trigger

What is it and why you need it

A new trigger “Someone remove a tag” is added inside the Automation Workflows. The trigger is activated whenever a specific tag is removed from a user, either manually by an admin or automatically through another automation workflow.

This makes it easier to create chained automation across multiple workflows. Instead of building one large automation, you can trigger new workflows based on tag removal actions and deliver personalized experiences for your leads, students, members, and customers.

How to get started using it

Log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Marketing & Contacts -> Automation Workflows, and then click the Create Automation button.

Now, you can utilize the new trigger by combining it with multiple actions to make a powerful automation workflow. Note that you need to purchase the  Intermation Task Automation addon in order to use this new trigger along with the other ones.

To manually remove tags from users, go to Marketing & Contacts -> Tags -> View Tagged Students.

The ‘Someone remove a tag’ trigger also gets fired when the same tag is removed from a different automation workflow by adding the ‘Remove Tags’ action. An example workflow is given in the screenshot below.

As soon as users are removed from the specific tag, it will instantly fire the trigger and the workflow will start to run.
