Community Tab Setting: Free & Paid Course
The community tab settings give you the option to choose which tabs appear inside the community on the feed. You can decide whether to show or hide tabs such as Members, Files, Leaderboard, Events, Courses, etc.
Previously, when you enabled the course tab, all courses had to follow the same access type either free or paid.
Now, you can set each selected course individually as free or paid. Free gives community members direct access to the course, while they’d have to purchase paid ones in order to view the course content.
How to get started using it
First, log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Products & Services -> Communities. This is where you’ll find all the communities you’ve created previously. From there, click the three dots on your community and select the Tab Settings option.
Scroll and find the Courses tab, and enable the toggle.
After enabling, you can select using the dropdown option from your existing courses.
By default, select courses are in “paid” status i.e. community members will have to purchase/enroll in the course first. To make a course free, simply enable the “Free” toggle option for the course.
Scroll down and click the Save Settings option to keep the changes.
Inside the community, all selected courses will appear under the Courses tab. Courses marked as free will be instantly accessible to community members, while paid courses will redirect members to the checkout page before they can access the content.
