We're excited to announce that a major upgrade to your white-label iOS app is almost here.

To ensure a smooth transition, we'll be rolling out updates gradually across all user apps. To prepare your app for the upgrade, we need a few items from your App Store Connect account. Kindly follow the steps below.

Step 1: Generate an App Store Connect API Key

The API key can only be created by the owner of the App Store Connect account. This helps us to securely upload new app versions, manage releases, and perform deployment-related tasks.

Go to your App Store Connect account and log in to the dashboard. From there, click Users and Access tab.

On the App Store Connect API menu, navigate to the Integrations tab.

Ensure you’re on the Team Keys section. Click the “+” icon or “Generate API Key” button to generate a new API key.

[Note: If a Team Key already exists, you may use it. Otherwise, create a new one.]

Fill in the following details: Set the name as “Fastlane Deployment” and the role as “App Manager”. And then click Generate.

After generation, make sure you:

• Download the ‘.p8’ file immediately.

• Note down the Key ID.

• Note down the Issuer ID.

[Note: Apple only allows the ‘.p8’ file to be downloaded once. If you miss downloading it, you'll need to generate a new key.]

You need to share these with our EzyCourse team, but ensure you complete step 2 before sharing with our team.

Step 2: Verify App Store Agreements

Apple may block app updates if required agreements are not accepted. Please complete the following steps and ensure you accept all the conditions.

While logged in to the App Store Connect dashboard, navigate to the Business tab.

Check for any agreements marked as “Pending”, “Action Required”, or “Incomplete”. And accept all agreements that require action.

Sometimes agreements may still show as pending even after acceptance, so refreshing the page will help confirm everything is properly completed. So, ensure you refresh the page a couple times. And then confirm that no agreements remain in a pending or incomplete state.

What Happens Next?

Once you've accepted all App Store agreements, please share the downloaded .p8 file, Key ID, and Issuer ID with the EzyCourse app team in your dedicated WhatsApp group. After we receive these details, we'll begin preparing your app for the upcoming upgrade. And note that without these items, your white-label iOS app update will not be possible.

We'll notify you before your app is scheduled for deployment and keep you informed throughout the process.
