Add Author Info to Product Cards
EzyCourse supports different user roles such as site owner, admin, teacher, developer, etc. Moreover, you can create custom user roles with your own set of permissions to manage your platform more efficiently.
Products that are created by any such user, their name and image, can now be shown on product cards. You can choose to show author info using widgets on the website builder 2.0.
The products where author info could be displayed are: Course, Community, Digital and Physical products. Widgets you can use to show the author info on: All Products, Course List, Community List, and Marketplace.
[Note: Author info on product cards was already available on the Marketplace widget.]
How to get started using it
Widgets are built-in and are usable from the website builder 2.0. To use one, go to Website Builder -> Pages. You can open the builder on an existing page or create a new page from here.

Inside the page builder, use any supported widget. Simply drag and drop the widget on a blank section. And then right-click on the widget to open the editing panel. For the purpose of this tutorial, we are using the All Products widget.

Scroll down and expand the Course Card Settings & Style option.

Find the Show Author option and enable it. By default, the option is enabled automatically when you are using the widget.

Similarly, you can expand other products settings from here and choose whether to show or hide the author info.

You’ll find the “Show author” option on Course List, Community List, and Marketplace widgets also. If enabled, the product card will show the author name and image.

The author here refers to the user who created the product. But, in case of courses, the instructor info is shown instead of the author, if an instructor is selected. To update an instructor for a course, go to Courses -> All Courses -> click the three dots on a course and select the Update Instructor option.
[Note: If multiple instructors are assigned then only the first one is shown on the product card.]

By the way, any user can set their name and image from their dashboard on the Account Info page.
