Multi Level Affiliate

What is it & why you need it

EzyCourse lets you add affiliate users and enjoy running an affiliate program for your platform. With affiliate users, you could easily share your platform to unknown territories and gain more customers.

Now, you can create a multi-level affiliate program where there could be more linked members in addition to the affiliate users you create. With this, your affiliate program will run on multiple layers, making your platform reach wider and gain more traffic.

Furthermore, this will motivate your affiliate users as they will be able to add members and have the opportunity to earn commissions in more ways.

How it works

As it was, you can add an affiliate user on your platform from the EzyCourse dashboard. Now, you’ll have the luxury of choosing whether to give an affiliate user the option to add more linked members.

[Note: Linked members refer to the users that are added by the affiliate users.]

Also, you can set the commissions for both the affiliate users and the linked members. The commission set for the linked members will only work after the affiliate user creates a linked member, and then if any sale comes from that linked member’s affiliate link.

When sales come from a linked member’s affiliate link, the original affiliate user will get the commission as well in addition to the linked member.

Case 1: Suppose, you are creating an affiliate user X. When creating the user, commission set for X is 10% and for any linked members, 5%. Then here are some points to consider:

When sales come from X’s affiliate link, only X will get 10% commission.

Suppose, X (affiliate user) adds a linked member Y. When sales come from Y’s affiliate link, then Y will get 10% commission and X will get 5% commission.

Case 2: After Y (linked member) is added by X, Y can earn with respect to X (Y’s parent referral) only, unless you edit and set Y’s commission. Suppose, you set 4% commission for Y and 2% commission for any linked members that Y might create.

When sales come from Y’s affiliate link, X will get 5% commission and Y will get 10%. This will work exactly as before.

Suppose, Y adds a linked member Z. When sales come from Z’s affiliate link, then Y will get 2% commission and Z will get 4% commission.

How to get started using it

To begin, log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and head over to Deals & Sales -> Affiliate Users. Here, click the Add new affiliate button on the top right corner. As before, this is how you create a new affiliate user.

Now, to create a multi-level system, simply tick mark the “Allow affiliate member to add new affiliate members” option. Enabling this option gives the affiliate user the option to add linked members from their dashboard.

With the option tick marked, set the commission type and value. This commission will only apply after the affiliate user creates a linked member. It is important to note that the commission (Linked member commission) set here will be the commission that this affiliate user gets, when sales come from the linked member’s affiliate link.

The affiliate user can add a linked member from My Affiliates -> Add new affiliate button on the affiliate dashboard.

All they have to give is the user name, email, and password.

When an affiliate user creates a linked member from their dashboard, you will see the newly created linked member on your admin dashboard also. Notice that you’ll also see the parent referral’s name i.e. the affiliate user who added the linked member.

[Note: At this point, you do not have to set or edit any commission/info for the linked member.]

Now, when sales come from the linked member’s affiliate link, both the original affiliate user and the linked member will get the commissions according to how you set (on the affiliate user’s settings).

To make a linked member an affiliate user also, click the three dots and select the Edit option on the linked member. You can give the option to add more users and set commissions.

In the similar way, you can create a chain of affiliate users and linked members.
