How to Upload Video from URL
What is it & why you need it
You can now upload videos to your EzyCourse storage directly using a video link from platforms like Dropbox, Google Drive, or Vimeo. No need to download and re-upload — the video is transferred straight to your EzyCourse cloud storage and becomes accessible from your gallery.
This saves time, keeps your device storage free, and ensures your videos remain accessible in EzyCourse even if you delete them from your device or the original platform.
How to get started using it
The feature supports video upload from platforms such as Dropbox, Google Drive, Vimeo, and any public videos. Here, you’ll see how to upload from each platform so that the video is smoothly transferred to the cloud storage.
Uploading from Dropbox
Upload a video to your Dropbox account. If you already have one, then get a shareable link. You can do that right from your dashboard on the All Files menu.

Hover over a video and click the Share button. And then click the Copy link option on the popup.

After copying the link, go to the gallery of your EzyCourse dashboard.

Go to the Video tab and you’ll find the Upload Video from URL button on the top right corner of the gallery. Click it.

Give your file a name and paste the link on the Video URL field. And then click the Upload button to save it in the gallery.
[Note: Depending on the size, it might take a few minutes for the video upload to complete.]

With the video uploaded successfully, you can even download the video anytime from the gallery and of course access or use it anywhere else on your platform.

Uploading from Google Drive
Log in to your google drive account. Choose a video and go to the Share option.

Choose “Anyone with the link” option as the access of the video file. And then copy the link. The copied link should look like this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E8IR8MxND1bKXXXXX/view?usp=sharing
.

Simply use this link when uploading video from URL on your gallery and it’ll work.
Uploading from Vimeo
You can only upload the Vimeo videos that are downloadable. On a video preview page, click the Download icon just below the video title.

On the popup, choose any video quality and right-click the download icon on the right side. Then click the Copy Link Address option.

And that’s it. Just paste the link on your EzyCourse gallery and you’ll be able to upload the video.
