Pre-Built Templates & Template Collection

With EzyCourse Website Builder, you can set up landing pages for your website in no time. Pre-built templates let you get started quickly with building up your site. In this article, you’ll see how to find a template and use one to build up a page, and save your own template collection.

Creating a New Page with Pre-Built Template

To create a new page, login to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Website builder -> All site pages. And then click the Create page button on the top right corner of your screen.

On the popup, give the page name and set the other essential settings. And create the page.

[Note: You cannot use pre-built templates on modal pages.]

As soon as you create the page, you should see a modal like this.

If you don’t see it or if you’ve closed it for some reason, then click the Add new section button on the editor.

Now, choose the Templates tab where you’ll see all the available pre-built templates varying in design, genre, etc.

[Note: We add new templates every now and then to increase the range of choice for you.]

To preview a template, hover over it and click the eye icon.

To use a template on your page, hover over it and click the insert button.

Since we are creating a new page and do not have any content already on the builder, choose the Replace template option on the confirmation popup and insert the template. And that should create the whole page with the template you chose.

You can choose the Insert at the bottom option when you already have some content and want to keep them too.

After inserting, you can edit and make changes to the texts, designs, colors, spacings, and anything else you wish.

Template Collection (Also known as My Templates)

You can build a page and save it for future use in My Templates. This is useful when you have a design/structure built which you know might be recurring on your website.

To save a page as a template, click the Save as template button on the builder.

On the popup, give the template name and save it.

You can use it just like we’ve used the pre-built templates. To use one, click the Add new section button and then choose My templates tab on the modal.

[Note: You’ll find the ‘Add new section’ button at the bottom of the page.]

You can now insert your template on the page, delete it, or even save it as a JSON file through exporting.
