How It Works
Credit Usage System for AI Course Creation
Full curriculum generation: 100 credits
Regenerate a single chapter: 20 credits
Regenerate a single lesson: 10 credits
Full AI lesson build (text + slides): 200 credits
Each additional source added to a lesson: 50 credits

Step 1: Choose Your Source
The AI course builder accepts four types of input sources:
Document upload: Upload a PDF, Word file, or any document you already have. Your existing content becomes your course.
YouTube video: Paste a YouTube URL and the AI analyses the video's transcript and structure.
Web URL: Link to any publicly accessible web page, article, or resource.
Plain text description: Simply describe what your course should cover and the AI will build from your intent.
You can also provide additional context on top of your primary source. Supplementary text, extra documents, or supporting URLs to give AI a better picture of what you want to teach.
Step 2: Configure Course Settings
Before it starts to generate, configure your course to match your audience and goals. Half of the settings are optional, but these can make your output better.
Course title and target audience
Skill level (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
Content tone and estimated duration
Learner outcome and prerequisite description
Number of chapters and lessons per chapter
Lesson type preferences — text, video, mixed, and more
Step 3: Review and Approve Your Curriculum
Once AI drafts your course outline, you can see the full curriculum at a glance. Every chapter and lesson is laid out in an interactive outline. You can:
Drag-and-drop to reorder chapters or lessons
Rename any chapter or lesson
Change lesson types
Regenerate any individual chapter or lesson
Delete or add lessons
Step 4: Create Lessons with AI
This is where EzyCourse's AI Course Builder truly stands apart. After curriculum generation, you can create lessons with AI. This includes:
Rich slide decks with structured text and visual layouts
Contextually relevant images
Data charts and graphs
Code examples and syntax-highlighted blocks
Gamified quiz slides
You can watch each section generate in real time. You can also close the tab and let AI keep working. Your course will be ready when you return.
Step 5: Edit, Refine, and Brand
Inside the AI course builder, you have full editorial control:
Click any slide to edit text, images, layouts, or interactive elements
Replace images with URL or choose from the upcoming built-in gallery
Add, duplicate, reorder, or delete slides freely
Inject custom HTML slides for advanced layouts
Use the in-editor AI chat to refine individual slides on command
Update course branding colours, fonts, and themes
Preview mode before going live
How to Get Started Using It
Getting your first AI-generated course up and running takes less than five minutes.
Login to your EzyCourse dashboard and go to Courses -> All Courses. You will see the AI Course Builder banner at the top of the page. Click Create with AI to launch the builder.
Choose from Document, URL, YouTube Video, or Description..
You can also add additional context alongside any source to guide the AI further. Click the Continue button to proceed.
Fill in your course title, select your target audience level, choose your delivery language, and set the number of chapters and lessons you want.
Select the types of lessons you want. You can change it later. Once done, click the Generate curriculum button.
In seconds, your full curriculum outline appears. Drag chapters to reorder, edit titles inline, change lesson types, or regenerate any section you don’t like.
In fact, you can add a new lesson or a new chapter from here. When done, click the Looks Good — Create button.
On the popup, click the Yes, create the course button to begin full lesson generation.
Sit back while every lesson is built, illustrated, and structured automatically. Watch live progress or do any other task. AI will keep working in the background. When complete, click View Course to see your finished product.
Open any lesson to add your course learning materials and publish when ready.
Create a New Lesson with AI
The AI course builder lets you build any complete lesson within an existing course from scratch.
Simply, open any existing chapter and click Create New Lesson. Once inside, you will see a new Build with AI button lesson card. Click it to open the AI lesson builder panel.
You will be presented with two generation modes:
Description: type what you want the lesson to cover and the AI builds the full lesson content from your instructions alone.
Source: Attach a document, paste a URL, or link a YouTube video as the primary content source for this lesson.
You can combine these modes by starting with a source and add a description to give the AI extra direction on what to emphasise or how to frame the material.
Click Continue to proceed further.
[Note: You can add upto 3 sources and each extra source costs 50 additional credits.]
Configure how you want the lesson to feel. This includes Audience, Language, Duration, Branding, and description.
You can enable Let AI expand with its expertise to allow the AI to go beyond and expand the lesson content.
And enable the Add a gamified end-of-lesson quiz to include interactive quiz elements and engagement checkpoints within the lesson.
Click Generate and see the lesson generation alongside live preview. If any section hits an error, a Retry option appears so you can resume without starting over.
Once it’s generated, your lesson is ready in the editor. Every slide is fully editable: update text, replace images by URL, add or delete slides, duplicate sections, or drop in custom HTML.
Use the AI chat panel inside the editor to describe any change you want. AI will update the relevant slide for you without you touching a single element manually.
Switch to Course Preview mode at any time to experience the lesson exactly as your learners will and publish when it is ready.
AI Course Builder is currently in BETA version and available to all EzyCourse users.
