Course Ratings & Reviews

What is it & why you need it

With EzyCourse, you can include various information about your course, showcase on the course details page, and add more value to your courses.

Now, you can let your students jump in and share their experience about your course. Students can give ratings and reviews on your course. This will help improve the credibility of your course content, and attract more students to sign up for the course.

How it works

You can enable or keep the reviews option for courses hidden. As an admin, you’ll decide when an enrolled student gives a review about your course. You can show them the review popup after they’ve completed the whole course. Or, you can define a certain course progress percentage after which they’ll be eligible to give review.

From the dashboard, you can also choose whether to auto-approve and show the review on the course details page. If auto-approve is disabled, you’ll have to manually approve the review of a student before it shows on your course details page.

How to get started using it

To begin, log in to your EzyCourse dashboard and navigate to Site Settings -> Global Settings.

Scroll down at the bottom of the page and find the “Review setting” section.

From here, you can enable review for courses. This will show your students a popup where they can rate and write a review.

You can also choose when to show the review popup to your students. It could be after completing the whole course. Or, you can choose the percentage option. The percentage value here refers to the percentage of course completion.

You can also set the default rating stars from 0 to 5. Students can of course change the rating as they like.

Finally, the Auto Approve Review option is simply controlling how to show the reviews after the students make one. If enabled, then the reviews will show on the course details page automatically considering you’ve enabled the review option from your course settings page. To do that, simply go to the Advance Information option on course settings and tick mark the “Enable course review” option.

[Note: You have to choose this option for all the courses separately to show the review section on the course details page.]

If Auto Approve Review is disabled then you have to manually approve the reviews. To do that, go to Courses -> Reviews -> click the three dots and select the Approve option.
