What is it and why you need it

The new Notification Sound Settings feature allows you and your students to control whether to hear a notification sound when new notifications arrive on the EzyCourse platform.

We’ve added a new option that lets you toggle the notification sound on or off according to your preference. As a result, this lets you and your students control the notification sound directly from the dashboard.

How to get started using it

To begin, login to your EzyCourse dashboard, click on your “profile icon” (top-right corner) and go to Account Info. 

Now, scroll down to find the Notification Sound Settings option. From here, you will notice a toggle option to mute the notification sounds. 

If you want to mute the notification sounds, simply turn on the toggle option and then click the Update button to apply the changes you’ve made.  

Student Perspective

From the students’ end, students can also access the notification settings from their profile. To do that, they simply have to click the Edit button on their profile card. 

Now, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and here they will find the Notification Sound Settings option. 

If they want, they can enable the toggle option to mute the notification sounds and then click the Update button to save the changes made.
