Conditional Rendering in Builder 2.0

What is it why you need it

We’re excited to introduce Conditional Rendering in Builder 2.0 — giving you more control over what your visitors see on your platform.

You can now show or hide any element or widget based on whether the user is logged in or logged out. This means you can:

  • Display a “Login” button only to logged-out users

  • Show a “My Account” link only to logged-in users

And the best is that you can tailor this browsing experience without writing a single line of code!

[More to Come: We’re already working on expanding this feature to include membership level and user attributes, so you’ll be able to customize content for different user segments even further.]

How to get started using it

To begin, go to the Builder 2.0 and then right click on any element of your section. If you want, you can go on with the prebuilt template and then right-click on a button.

Shift your focus to the edit panel, move to the Advanced tab -> scroll down a bit and here you will find the Condition option.

Click on it and then select the Add Condition button from the dropdown.

Next, click the User Logged In Status option.

Now, you can make the button visible by selecting based on either the User is Logged In or the User is Logged Out conditional logic.

The conditional rendering will work depending on the logic you’ve set.
