Community Daily/Weekly Post Digest
What is it & why you need it
The EzyCourse community helps you to foster student engagement and create connections with the learners. With notification system, communities help to keep your students engaged on your platform.
Now, you can set up daily or weekly community post digest. This feature will help to automatically keep your students notified about all the activities happening in your community, either in daily or weekly intervals.
You will also control how to send community post digest. Either through emails or send direct notifications to your white-label mobile app users, ultimately increasing engagement and community participation.
How it works
You can enable/disable the daily or weekly community post digest from the Global Settings on your EzyCourse admin dashboard. For daily digest, the posts of a single day are sent automatically to the students, every day. For weekly digest, popular posts made in the whole week are sent on a weekly basis.
The admin can also select the notification channels. You can either choose to notify students via emails or send app notifications to your white-label mobile app users, or choose both ways to notify.
The daily and weekly digest option will automatically be selected for you based on your plan.
• Elite and Unlimited plan users will have daily and weekly digest both selected. But, both options will be disabled i.e. they cannot uncheck these options. They can select any one or both notification channels (email and app notification).
• For Pro and Appsumo users, only weekly digest will be selected by default. They can choose any one or both notification channels also.
Your students will also have the option to choose daily or weekly digest and whether they wish to receive the community post digest to their email or mobile. Student’s post digest options will depend on the admin’s dashboard settings.
[Note: Basic plan users will have to upgrade their plan to use this feature.]
How to get started using it
Find the community post digest settings on the Global Settings menu under Site Settings.

Enable the toggle button to turn on the feature.

Daily or weekly digest options will automatically be selected for you. Again, it depends on the plan you are on and you cannot change these options.

You can choose the notification channels. Send the community post digest through emails or send app notifications, if you own the white-label mobile app. You can select both the options also.

Click the Update button to save the changes.

Student Perspective
Students can also enable community post digest and choose the settings from the Community emails tab under the Settings menu on their student dashboard.

Depending on the admin settings, students can choose whether to receive community post digest daily or weekly. In addition, they can also select the notification channels.

Here’s how the email will look when sent to the student’s inbox.

If you have white-label mobile app, then students will receive the post digest notifications on their mobile considering the app notification channel is enabled.
