How to Enable/Disable Private Chat
Using private chat feature requires you to have the Private Chat addon. Once you get it, you can enable the feature directly from your admin dashboard. To enable, go to Products & Services → Private Chat.

Click on the Settings tab and you can enable/disable the private chat feature from here. There’s also an option to add an image which will show on the product card on your website. Ensure you click the Update Settings button to apply the changes.

With private chat enabled and access given to users, they can chat from their account using the messenger option.

When you disable the private chat, students/teachers will no longer have access to the private chat tab on their dashboard or in the Messenger. In addition, private chat will also not appear on your site under the All products section.
