How to Collect Customer Address at Checkout


You can choose whether to take customers’ addresses when they buy a product on your platform. Here, you’ll see how to set the option to take the customer's address at checkout. 


To begin, login to your EzyCourse dashboard and navigate to Site Settings -> Checkout.

Now, you can select the option you want. The default is that the address is disabled. i.e. Customers will not have to give any address info at checkout. You can change the default to either take the address for any and all products or enable the address for only physical products.





You can also enable the temporary enrollment settings in case the user purchases your product e.g. using the SEPA debit cards. Which usually takes some time to process the payment

In addition, you can add custom fields at the checkout page so that you can receive the additional information that is provided by your users.

And that’s not all—by selecting the “Show validation” checkbox while setting up the custom fields, you can make these fields required. This means users will need to fillup the required fields before proceeding with their purchase.
